Argyle Canyon, Reservation Ridge, and surrounding mountain areas are situated between Price, Utah on the South, and Duchesne, Utah on the North.

The forest service has a camp ground at Avintaquin that can be reached by traveling south from Hwy 191 starting close to the summit.

Nine Mile Canyon can be reached by traveling East from Hwy 191 down Argyle Canyon.

Argyle and surrounding areas provide a rich habit for wildlife.

The fire council was organized by canyon residents in conjunction with the Utah Forestry Department to help protect public and private lands through education and landowner care.
